There’s nothing quite like seeing a project through from start to finish, and we’re delighted to say that this latest flat roofing project has now been completed and handed back to the homeowners. Before we get into the details of the work itself, we’d like to extend a sincere thank you to our customers for their patience, understanding, and support throughout the project. Over the last few weeks, we’ve faced some exceptionally challenging weather conditions, with persistent rain causing unavoidable delays at various stages. While the weather certainly did its best to slow progress, our team remained committed to delivering the high-quality finish our customers expect, and we're proud of the final result.
More Than Just a Flat Roof Replacement
At first glance, this may look like a standard flat roof renewal project, but in reality, it was a complete rebuild from the ground up.
The existing structure had reached the end of its serviceable life and required far more than simply replacing the waterproof covering. To ensure the roof would provide long-term performance and reliability, the entire structure was stripped back and rebuilt using modern materials and installation methods.
The project included:
Complete removal of the existing roof structure
Installation of all new structural timber framework
Construction of a brand-new warm roof deck using the correct modern roofing build-up
Supply and installation of two new flat roof rooflights
Installation of a premium FlexiProof Flat Roof System to create a durable, weatherproof, and fully watertight finish
By rebuilding the roof correctly from the structure upwards, we have created a roofing system that not only looks fantastic but also provides improved thermal performance, durability, and protection against the elements for many years to come.
